Hello, my name is Colin R. Dabbs. I am a photojournalist and travel photographer from St. Louis, MO, USA. I have a BA in photography with a concentration in journalism from Webster University. I have won a few awards in photography including Best Photo Essay and Best Spot News Picture. In 2009, after working for a newspaper, I moved to South Korea where I lived for 12 years. While in Korea I was the chief photographer for Hockey in Asia and I freelanced for other publications, such as The Korean Herald, Groove Magazine, and 10 Magazine. I moved back to St. Louis in 2021, where I work as a Regional Team Lead Photographer for a large marketing company, and I am the photographer for the St. Louis Zoo. I also host various photo workshops throughout the year, Photographing Birds and Colorizing Black and White, are among the most popular. My work has appeared in galleries throughout the USA, Europe, and Asia. I am a Certified and Accredited International Press Photographer with the International Association of Press Photographers and a member of the National Press Photographers Association.
